It is often a revelation to perform music with the composer conducting. On Saturday 6 April Sinfonia Verdi had the great pleasure of performing with St Albans Bach Choir in the magnificent setting of St Albans Cathedral.
The programme included John Rutter’s celebrated Requiem conducted by the composer himself. Andrew Lucas conducted memorable performances of Rutter’s Magnificat and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms.
